GK
Kevin Galván, better known as GK, was born on August 19, 1992, in Monterrey, NL, Mexico.
In May 2022, he took a significant step by signing as a producer with Hear This Music, the label founded by DJ Luian and Mambo Kingz, responsible for Bad Bunny's success.
After 16 years of dedication, sacrifice, and hard work, GK finally realized his dream of collaborating with DJ Luian, Mambo Kingz, and Santo Niño. Shortly after signing with the record label, he surprised the world with two notable hits: "S.Q.LO" by Nesi featuring Jowell and Randy, and "Mayor que Usted" by Natti Natasha, Wisin and Yandel, and Daddy Yankee. The latter reached the number 1 spot on the Billboard Latino chart, earning him the title of Platinum Producer.
While GK's success may seem unexpected, his journey tells a different story. He began producing music at the age of 14 and became one of the first producers to share tutorials on YouTube, accumulating millions of views and followers in a short period. At the age of 20, he opened his first commercial recording studio, making music his full-time focus.
However, the most significant and formative challenge of his career came in 2020, during the pandemic. Alongside his friend and collaborator, Cv33, they accepted Gary Vee's challenge to create an original song every day for a year. Starting on February 1, 2021, without exception, they worked on a new song daily, showcasing impressive discipline, sacrifice, and determination, in addition to their undeniable talent. The result was the creation of 366 original songs, an achievement that left a mark on their careers.
