Kevin Galván, conocido como GK, nació el 19 de agosto de 1992 en Monterrey, NL, México.

En mayo de 2022, dio un gran paso firmando como productor con Hear This Music, el sello fundado por DJ Luian y Mambo Kingz, responsables del éxito de Bad Bunny.

Luego, en agosto de 2023, GK alcanzó un logro importante al unirse como profesor al Berklee College of Music. Este éxito no solo reconoció su experiencia en la música, sino que también le permitió compartir su pasión y conocimiento con las generaciones futuras de artistas y productores.

Después de 16 años de dedicación, sacrificio y trabajo duro, GK finalmente cumplió su sueño de colaborar con DJ Luian, Mambo Kingz y Santo Niño. Tras firmar con el sello discográfico, sorprendió al mundo con dos éxitos notables: “S.Q.LO” de Nesi con Jowell y Randy, y “Mayor que Usted” de Natti Natasha, Wisin y Yandel, y Daddy Yankee, este último alcanzando el puesto número 1 en el chart de Billboard Latino y otorgándole el título de Productor Platino.

Aunque su éxito pueda parecer inesperado, la historia de GK es diferente. Comenzó a producir música a los 14 años y se convirtió en uno de los primeros productores en compartir tutoriales en YouTube, acumulando millones de visitas y seguidores en poco tiempo. A los 20 años, abrió su primer estudio de grabación comercial, convirtiendo la música en su enfoque a tiempo completo.

El desafío más significativo de su carrera llegó en 2020, durante la pandemia. Junto a su amigo y colaborador, Cv33, aceptaron el reto de Gary Vee de crear una canción original todos los días durante un año. A partir del 1 de febrero de 2021, sin excepción, ambos trabajaron en una nueva canción diariamente, demostrando una disciplina, sacrificio y determinación impresionantes, además de su innegable talento. El resultado fue la creación de 366 canciones originales, un logro que dejó una marca en sus carreras.

Kevin Galván, better known as GK, was born on August 19, 1992, in Monterrey, NL, Mexico. In May 2022, he took a significant step by signing as a producer with Hear This Music, the label founded by DJ Luian and Mambo Kingz, responsible for Bad Bunny’s success.

Then, in August 2023, GK achieved an important milestone by joining Berklee College of Music as a professor. This achievement not only recognized his expertise in the music industry but also allowed him to share his passion and knowledge with the next generation of artists and producers.

After 16 years of dedication, sacrifice, and hard work, GK finally realized his dream of collaborating with DJ Luian, Mambo Kingz, and Santo Niño. Shortly after signing with the record label, he surprised the world with two notable hits: “S.Q.LO” by Nesi featuring Jowell and Randy, and “Mayor que Usted” by Natti Natasha, Wisin and Yandel, and Daddy Yankee. The latter reached the number 1 spot on the Billboard Latino chart, earning him the title of Platinum Producer.

While GK’s success may seem unexpected, his journey tells a different story. He began producing music at the age of 14 and became one of the first producers to share tutorials on YouTube, accumulating millions of views and followers in a short period. At the age of 20, he opened his first commercial recording studio, making music his full-time focus.

However, the most significant and formative challenge of his career came in 2020, during the pandemic. Alongside his friend and collaborator, Cv33, they accepted Gary Vee’s challenge to create an original song every day for a year. Starting on February 1, 2021, without exception, they worked on a new song daily, showcasing impressive discipline, sacrifice, and determination, in addition to their undeniable talent. The result was the creation of 366 original songs, an achievement that left a mark on their careers.
